To achieve the CompTIA A+ certification, a candidate must pass two exams: CompTIA 220-901 and CompTIA 220-902. The CompTIA A+ certification is intended for entry-level IT professionals with 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field.
The 220-901 training’s are focus on hardware, networking, printing, and general operating procedures. Successful candidates should be able to install, configure, and maintain printers, laptop computers, and PCs, understand the basics of networking; and properly and safely diagnose and resolve common hardware issues.
The 220-902 training’s focuses on operating systems, security, mobile devices, and troubleshooting. Successful candidates should be able to install, configure and maintain devices and PCs; understand the basics of visualization, networking and security; and properly and safely diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues while applying troubleshooting skills.
