The Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 &2 (ICND1&2) training prepares candidates for the ICND1 & ICND2 exam. Candidates who pass this exam earn the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification. It is also part of the path to achieving the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching certification and further CCNA certifications.
Candidates will be able to successfully install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network. The exam also covers the operation of IP data networks, LAN switching technologies, IP addressing (IPv4 & IPv6), IP routing, IP services (such as DHCP, NAT, and ACLs), network device security, and basic troubleshooting.
Candidates who pass the ICND1 exam achieve the CCENT certification.
Candidates who pass the ICND1 exam and the 200-101 ICND2 exam earn the CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
Candidates can also take the 200-120 CCNA composite exam to earn the CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
The 200-101 ICND2 packages will provide you with the necessary platform to gain hands on skills using real Cisco Routers and Switches. By completing the lab tasks you will improve your practical skills in installing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting basic router and switch configurations; configuring layer 2 technologies such as Ether Channels and spanning-tree; configuring the EIGRP routing protocol; configuring simple WAN links using HDLC, PPP and frame-relay; recognising high availability including HSRP, VRRP and GLBP; managing Cisco IOS files; troubleshooting various layer2 and layer3 technologies.
